On 9 June 2026, EA joins the global accreditation community in celebrating World Accreditation Day. This year’s theme, “Innovation, Trust and Sustainability: The Power of Accreditation”
EA members and stakeholders attended the 60th EA General Assembly (GA) on 20-21 May 2026, in Luxembourg, hosted by OLAS, the Luxembourg National Accreditation Body.
The EA MAC considered the outcome of the re-evaluation of DPA (Albania) and evaluation and re-evaluation of TUNAC (Tunisia), and took several decisions.
On 20 May, the global metrology community celebrates World Metrology Day, marking the anniversary of the signature of the Metre Convention in 1875, the international agreement that established the foundation for global collaboration in measurement science.
The EA Multilateral Agreement Council (MAC) held its 54th meeting on 6 and 7 May 2026 in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
EA is organising a workshop with the European Commission for National Accreditation Bodies in which the European Commission will provide an update on the implementation of the EU Methane Regulation
