Following the first Workshop on 3 June 2026, EA is organizing a second workshop with the European Commission on Regulation (EU) 2024/1787 on the reduction of methane emissions in the energy sector

The European Commission has adopted Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/1425, laying down new rules for the calculation, verification and reporting of data on recycled plastic content in single-use plastic beverage bottles.

The European Commission published new Guidance on CBAM verification and accreditation for Verifiers and National Accreditation Bodies.

EA is organising, on 29 September, with the European Commission, a workshop to provide an opportunity for EA National Accreditation Bodies to exchange views with the European Commission on the proposed MRV simplification measures.
